Crazy story:

I'M STUCK IN MY APARTMENT BECAUSE AN ICICLE FROZE THE DOOR SHUT AND NOW I'M TRAPPED.

DEAR MONDAY, PLEASE GO DIE.

*flails*

While I'm stuck, I may as well do something 'productive':
[Poll #930473]

ETA: it looks like [livejournal.com profile] philthe25th is going to chip me out. This entire situation is outrageous. Or maybe I'm hysterical from lack of sleep and stress. ...at least I'm laughing about it, right?

ETA 2: made it to work only two hours late! [livejournal.com profile] philthe25th gets hero-points for this. Also? I read that on Heroes they're killing off a major character for reals in a couple weeks. If any Petrelli gets it so help me but I will get angry. And you won't like me when I'm angry.

Dude. Frozen inside? That's totally a Monday thing.

*wanders back to her suddenly well above freezing weather*

I think tomorrow we're due for slightly-below-freezing weather, but right now it's still -14. Which is a good 10 degrees warmer than it's been for the past few weeks.

And I've got that R. Kelly song in my head, except instead of "closet" I'm humming "apartment". I guess if I had a Baretta I could have shot my way out hours ago... *hums* Still trapped in the apartment...

That's totally insane.

Also, I totally vote Claire's mom. They wouldn't kill off someone we really super-care about. And it'll probably be related to "someone flies" (Nathan!).

That's my theory, and I'm sticking to it.

The way they’ve cut the ads, it looks like a sure bet for Claire’s non-biomom. Especially after last week’s developments, with the brain-gooification and all that. I’d really like to see her go, not because I dislike her (actually, I quite like her) but because it would be a great death. If Sylar had killed her, she’s be another victim of the big villain, you know, a casualty of war. Regrettable, but of less consequence. If she dies now, as a result of the repeated brain-wipes, she is a victim of her husband, and not the Big Bad. It will mean something so different to the show if she dies because her husband killed her.

[livejournal.com profile] philthe25th was saying it’ll probably be Ando, which I refuse to even consider.

If either Peter or Nathan get it, I’ll be very angry indeed. *snuggles Petrellis, all protective-like* On the “someone flies” half of that dumb teaser line... well... if they get the rights to “Learn to Fly”, that would be entirely awesome.

Dude, if my apartment had windows I'd so have done that. I don't even have access to the street if that door is blocked. Stupid design. *grumbles*

HA! That's a great picture! Alas, all I got was drippy melty ice that glued the door shut.

That's the kind of snow they got in Upstate New York when my friend went to film her documentary for class over Reading Week...

You're really frozen in your apartment?! I am mazingly impressed by the depths of nature's/monday's hatred for you. Just, wow. ;)

*wanders off pretending that she did not vote in the heroes poll even though she only watched the first four episodes . . . and the one with George Takei. Star Trek actors FTW!*

It just makes every Canadian cliche so much harder to refute. *shakes fist at Mondays/weather*

Last week's episode was directed by a former Star Trek actor, too. It's nice to know that there is life after Trek.

Yup, A Story indeed. I still can't believe it actually happened. That's supposed to be a myth, right? About how cold it is in Canadia, our houses turn to ice?

It made an interesting answer when I was asked about my Reading Week. "Yeah, it was fine, but let me tell you what happened this morning..."

If they kill off Ando, I might not be able to watch that show anymore. D: I refuse to believe that as an option.

I kinda hope its Ma Bennet, only because there's been many cases where she's been too close to death. Allusions, anyone?

And the idea of you being trapped in your apartment makes me terrified for you, Charlo. D: *cuddle*

I concur - Ando, Hiro, Claire, Peter and Nathan HAD BETTER SURVIVE or else I will be very upset. Sylar's kind of doomed, HRG is kind of evil, and Simone is kind of under-used, and though I'd be sad to see any of them go, it wouldn't be so bad. But I do have my favourites, and I will fangirl-rage if any of them get it.

And probably will fail my midterm tomorrow if this episode is bad. Kind of pathetic, eh?

Re: Claire's biomom- am I the only one who thought *she* set off the fire originally? You know, the one where her daughter would have died if not for being a gene!freak?
If they make it Linderman, I will be sad.

No, I thought they'd made it pretty clear that the biomom did set the fire. I mean, I that's what I thought went down. Now I'm doubting it. I was seeing something like: Nathan broke it off with her and in her rage she started a fire she couldn't control, killing her baby in the process.

I voted Ma Bennett, but I'm also leaning towards Zach, unfortunately. The way things are going, I think something is seriously going to push Claire over the edge. Either of those things could do the trick.

I lean a little more towards Ma Bennet than Zach because Zach's being groomed to be the Lurve Interest; also it'd have a greater impact on Claire at this point. Taking Zach away again right now would be cruel, but having her mother finally pushed away for good would be the kind of action that would light a fire (so to speak) under Claire and/or destroy her entirely.

I'd like to see Claire running off to New York to find Peter because he's the one person who's shown her kindness in the last five episodes. While the Haitian has given her some answers, they're not the ones she wanted to hear. Her bio-family doesn't want her either, so who else can she turn to? Zach or Peter, really. (I should be studying for this midterm, but... Heroes... *flails*)

At the same time, I don't see her leaving Ma Bennett any time soon. She's gonna want to stick around to protect her from HRG.

Now I'm wondering if it's going to be HRG himself that gets it. His schemes are coming raveled and over the season all his seats of power and his influence are eroding. His subordinates have rebelled, his family sees through him, and he's clearly frustrated by his orders from his superiors. Either he gets a redemption storyline, or he gets axed. *pats HRG* Poor HRG.
