TV:
VMars: "My Big Fat Greek Rush Week"
There was a little more meat this week. What I found most interesting is that the show seems to be endorsing medicinal marijuana. Good for them.
And what's wrong with working in the library, Ms. Mars? Especially in such a nice, clean non-dusty library as that? The one I worked at in high school could only have dreamed of being that nice. I wanted to work at my uni's library, but *my* work/study job is getting paid to write things. Take that, Ronnie. :P Seriously, though, a library is a great place to be invisible, and there's always the opportunity to take breaks and hide in the basement and read children's Star Wars novels. Or figure out who the campus rapist is before your 13-episode order is done. One of those.
While the faux-lesbian dancing and pro-sorority stuff is fun and dandy, I'd love to see Logan, like, reacting *at all* to his Dad's death. I know he'd probably already gotten used to living without him, but he can't be perfectly okay now that his best friend's gone, his parents are dead, and his house is burned down. But then, the show ain't called Logan Echolls, is it?
SPN: "Everybody Loves A Clown"
What VMars lacks in emotional fallout, SPN makes up for in spades. Maybe CW's angst cards got shuffled over to SPN. I'm glad they did, but... wow.
I almost didn't finish the episode because it was a bit too intense right now. For one, clowns are freaky buggers and the MOTW was shot entirely creepily. And the boys... oh, god. They're raw and bleeding and kicking each other and Sam looked like he was about 13 in that last scene and Dean is acting all un-Dean (and my god, mad props to Jensen and Jared for selling all this so well). *wibble*
I don't mind that whatserface blonde so much. She might make Dean smile, and Dean hasn't chuckled since the middle of last season, not really. Or "Hell House". Which was IN MARCH. *cuddles Dean*
And according to the Star's TV listings (which I *don't* have bookmarked, stop looking at me) I can watch Lost at either 8 or 9 tonight. This means I can dither here for a while, put off the research proposal even longer *aaand* avoid doing tomorrow's readings. All because Lost is later than anticipated.
