charloweenToday's copy-editing concern: Koran versus Qur'an. According to the OED, the former predates the latter by about 150 years in the English language, with Qur'an coming into use at the height of British Imperalism, Orientalism, etc. On the other hand, Koran is less 'scholarly' (again, according to the OED).
