Bye bye JV

After dithering for a while, I took the majority of John Vanderslice and Mountain Goats songs off my mp3 player. I subbed on a bunch of Neko Case and some older albums I haven't listened to yet (Dar Williams, Laura Marling, Damien Rice, The Hold Steady, etc).

Even though none of the new songs have come up on shuffle yet, every song that has come up has been a song I like and haven't heard in a while. It was like JV and TMG were clogging up the shuffle function or something.

Does it weird anyone else out that you can buy surveillance cameras on Amazon.ca?

I know Amazon.com has everything and anything for sale, but of all the products for the Canadian site... no toys, no kitchenware, but you can get your own home security system. Seems wrong, somehow.
