I voted weeks ago, so... *shrug*
Apr. 30th, 2011 05:33 pmOf the many reasons it would be hilarious and awesome to have Jack Layton as PM (such a long shot, but let me indulge in some lefty idealism):
1. Would give all the haters the chance to rag on Layton and Chow for living in subsidized housing, what, a decade ago? C'mon, like Harper know where the subsidized housing is in his riding. Compared to Harper stocking his inner circle with people he keeps having to call the RCMP on, the housing thing is barely worth noting.
2. It would drive Glenn Beck insane. More insane. Certainly would give the commie-hating birther conspiracy freaks south of the border something to chew on, anyway.
Moving on Tuesday. After I move I won't have home internet for three weeks or so, thanks I think to the previous tenant of the new place who didn't call to cancel his Sky package. D:
At least there might be running water at the new place. This morning when I got up the water had been switched off in my building. Did anyone tell me, or post a note, or otherwise indicate that at 9am on a Saturday morning the toilets, showers and sinks would be out of commission? No. It was a fun morning.
