I'm kinda wondering what exactly, the designers/owners were thinking when they decided to go with fur walls.
Owner: I'm really looking to create a welcoming, comfortable environment that's still totally hip.
Designer 1: Welcoming? Comfortable? In that case, you'll want to go with images and textures that people are familiar with, like puppy dogs and flannel.
Designer 2: But to be hip, you've got to be edgy. Do what no one else has the guts or brains to do. Get creative!
Owner: But how do I do what no one else has done with "images and textures that people are familiar with"?
Designer 1: ...
Designer 2: ...
Owner: I know! FUR WALLS!

Socks! But socks are wonderful (only in the winter. Summer requires bare feet)! Hey, you could sew them all together and make a pretty dress? And I agree- clothes shopping is a scary, scary thing. I've a tendency to try on a handful of pieces, decide they're all nice enough but I don't really need them, and leave empty handed. Though being threatened with Grievous Bodily Harm by [livejournal.com profile] starsoohpretty until I agreed to purchase things generally helped.

titless 11-year-old. BWAHAHAHAHA. I'm right there with you on that one. This whole burlap cotton sack shirt style with the scrunched bottom? Not so good.

I've gotten sucked into schoolwork lately. Ok, that's not quite fair. I faffed around all last week, spending hours reading on the quad. So now I'm catching up on everything that's due between now and Thursday, when I'll be going home! Yay!

Also, I'll have you know I'm listening to "Red Rover" right now. Love, you've created a monster!
