And their deaths weren't nearly grand enough. Nor did we see corpses. Ted, Isaac, even Thompson had bodies left behind. I've seen enough X-Files to know not to believe a death until I've seen a corpse (...even after that, too).

...plan for the second season is to explain some of the previous generation, so they don't technically need her sons there to talk about her.

Maybe next season we'll get an answer for why the heck she was shoplifting in the first episode, because that totally doesn't jive with what we've found out about her.
