Warwick Castle

Today
firstgold and I headed down to my LYS, but the weather was (still is!) so nice that we took the riverside walk route (versus the bus, the train or the walking route through town).
On the way we have to pass Warwick Castle (built by William the Conqueror in 1068).
First you see it across the park:

Then you get a spectacular view from a bridge:

And if you want, you can get quite close to one of the towers:

Photos done, we looked at yarn, gathered lunch from various stalls at the market in the aptly-named Market Square, and headed back to the park to stuff ourselves while sitting in the shade of a big ol' tree.
