charloweenMeg and Grant were kind enough to be dragged along on a beautiful day to Toronto (where I proved for sure that I fit in at Ryerson: they're scattered and disorganized!) Golly good golly it was happy. I bought some stuff (not pants, wasn't in a pant-buying mood). Sunshiny-day happy. Felt really sick most of the day but that's just fine. Got to read a lot of that Kushiel's Dart book, it's better than I expected.
I feel really luck to have two friends who would come along with me to a potentially boring evening. Merci, encore. We got to wander, tease kids from Brantford, eat delicieux strawberries, and play with pencils. Doesn't seem like such a wasted thing. Many geeks and many nerds. Lots of parents and lots of frightened high-schoolers.
