Feb. 25th, 2006 07:19 pmHELP!
Are there any Babylon 5 fans out there in flistland?
I've seen one episode ever, I don't know what the episode is called, and so I can't track it down for a re-watch and see if it would be useful for this paper I'm working on.
The point of the episode was that Media Is Evil, and the plot of the episode had a journalist covering some major plot point or another in a way that ultimately was not to the main character's satisfaction.
Any information would be deeply appreciated!
(Also? The word processor's dictionary doesn't have a "Fine Arts Theoretical-Wank" language option. Fetishization/fetishize, televisual, signifier, gravitas, objectification/objectify, reframe... all unknown. Incidentally, "Scully" and "Farscape" give it problems, too.)

The name of the episode I think is The Illusion of Truth. Rather fitting I think. It was a great look at how easily the truth can be twisted and turned to fit any propaganda. There is an episode synopsis and list following this link: http://www.midwinter.com/lurk/guide/074.html'
I hope this was the correct episode and that I could be of help^^
Good luck~
[I also find B5 to be very good and and creative when it comes to sending a moral message/social commentaries. That's another reason I really enjoy it^^]

It's actually the reason that I picked up the first season-and-a-half worth of B5 VHS tapes when I had the chance. It'll be May before I can start in on the show, but I am very much looking forward to it!

I also had to comment one more time and say I loved your Teal'c icon, from below. Not that Kaylee isn't fun either^^

Hee! Thanks! I think I'm getting a bit better with icons, but the Teal'c is still the one I'm proudest of.
