thucyken "dared" me to make a drunken post. However, I'm not that drunk. Actually, I'm not drunk at all. Yes,
vans_angel and the girls, we listened to "Sexyback" about seven times on a row and ended up dancing on philthe25th's bed, but... did you know Simón Bolívar was named president of Peru on September 10, 1823?EXACTLY.

-after walking in the wrong direction to The Phoenix after getting off at Sherborne, Phil and Oz really have to pee, so they go by some trees. I remember this and I also remember wanting to take a picture, but decided against it for fear of facing the wrath of the boys. I just remembered today that I didn't have my camera with me at that point anyway.
-After finding The Phoenix, we discover that they have no alcohol because they've been banned for two weeks. Boo. But, we get passes to pay not cover for the rest of 2006. Yay!
-We pay the $10 cover and go in to discover the place is empty save for two groups of 15 year old girls (no alcohol = no age limit) and two creepy guys. We leave.
-We decide to go to Velvet Underground because people want to dance and there's no cover. Fair enough. But, some don't want to pay $2.75 for the TTC. Fair enough.
-.....we walk for 40 minutes to Velvet Underground and discover a huge line. We're all sober by now and tired. We angst.
-After waiting in line for 15 minutes, we bribe the bouncer $5 to get in.
-The place is packed, but we dance adn we drink and we're merry.
-We leave at about 2 am and wait 30 minutes for the all night bus.
And that was the evening! Hopefully, the next Phoenix outting will actually take place at the Phoenix.
