I'm in a total "If I stay up later, tomorrow won't come as fast!" mode.

I'm NOT looking forward to meeting the pile of potential roommates that are coming by tomorrow. It's strange and scary and I don't like change, but if I don't do this I'm going to wimp out, move back with my parents and generally fail at independence. I want to move, but I can't find anywhere cheaper so I don't actually want to move. I don't really want to have to get a new roommate, but I have to or else I'm going to have to move, see also the "I don't actually want to move".

And I'm going to miss thucyken terribly when she's gone.

We have 18 eggs in the fridge but no bread.

Daniel (woo!!!!) is going to be in town Friday.

Next weekend I'm going to Guelph (woooo!!!!!) to visit _shewalks.

Weekend after that is CN.

At one point today, psychomax, _shewalks and I were all sitting on my bed, knitting and watching Firefly.

I don't have a job for the school year.

My hair is wet.

This turned into a Random Facts About Me meme.

I'm so sorry you're still going through the living situation trauma--I completely and utterly feel your pain. Wish I could help. :( The apartment I eventually found isn't big enough for a roommate, but I should have a brand new Ikea sofabed soon if you ever feel the need to get away from it all.

BTW, hi! Was just thinking recently that I hadn't seen you post for a while.

Eh, it's all good. I think I've found a good roommate, I've sent her the "it's yours if you want it" email and I'm waiting to hear back. There's a 2nd person who was cool, too, so it looks like I'm staying in the Hobbit Hole for another year. (woo.) *Next* year I'll be above ground. Next year. And thanks for the sofabed offer. :)

I had a Firefly marathon just yesterday. I think it's a good idea to have one every so often, just to try and keep up my TV standards. I've really been slumming it lately, what with all the reality shows.

But three cheers for Firefly! It's cool how I've seen those episodes more times than I can count and I still love them just as much as I did the first time. And cheers also for SPN, which is going to be back on my birthday... so just over 5 more weeks until more Winchesters! Woo! (Until then, it's giggling at the "Superman wears Dean Winchester pajamas" icons. Heh.)

I'm just holding my breath until September-- 5th, I think? when the SPN S1 DVDs come out. Here's hoping I've somehow made enough money to buy them, because the eps are taking up WAY to much space on my computer.

Yup, 5th! I get my student loans on the 6th, so I'm waiting until then. The Master Plan: first to the Student Financial Services office, then to the bank, then to the store. And then? Charlotte is a happy Charlotte.
