the joys of the joys of the joy
Jun. 2nd, 2004 09:34 amSomeone's been watching Kill Bill:
TOKYO — An 11-year-old girl led a fellow sixth-grader to an empty classroom during their school lunch hour today, slit her throat and slashed arms with a box-cutter and left her to bleed to death....more here:
When they found her she said "I have done a bad thing." No SHIT.
I should post this on one of them child-free communities.
OT: I lurve talking to Christians. I'm not one, have never been one, and yet know just enough to be able to hold conversations with them. It's great. I can piss them off, too, because I've read about the vague rules of the religion and not the actual dogmatic specifics. Like that time with Emma when I got her so mad... baptists are amusing.
According to this teacher of mine, Canada is unique because we're the only country whose government is really transparent, corrupt and solely for the benefit of business. He's having a conversation with a woman who has a heavy accent, and he assumes that she knows nothing about anything (and is stupid to boot) so he never lets her finish any of her sentences. He talks over her and starts 'teaching' her about "how we do things" in Canada, and it's not like she's a recent immigrant. Ass.
Speaking of stupid people, Mandy and Ryan Moore were at the mall last night. I was bright and bubbly with them and she refused to look at me. Tolerance!

Date: 2004-06-02 09:31 am (UTC)Emma = you were there; when Alex was moaning about how she was afraid that "her love for AFI was overshadowing her love for God?!" I ventured the opinion that since this god guy created everything, he created AFI, so having a love for AFI was okay, because it is part of the whole creation-dealio. What really pissed Emma off was when I said that I couldn't believe in a god that wouldn't get made at us for appreciating what he had a hand in. Not really sure why she got all huffy. Must have been a baptist thing.
