BEST FIC EVER:
Harry Potter and the Eagle of Truthiness, HP/Colbert Report crossover.
With a final triumphant cry, the eagle veered toward Dumbledore. As it backwinged and came in for a landing, there was a ripple of magic and a flowing change. What touched down beside the Headmaster was no longer an eagle at all.
"An Animagus!" Hermione gasped, dropping her book and not even noticing.
No longer an eagle, but a man … though still every bit as majestic and impressive. His tall, lean frame was draped in velvet robes that perfectly complemented his unblemished complexion. He smoothed his thick ink-black hair – which had not been disarranged in the slightest – and raised one shrewd eyebrow as his piercing bird-of-prey gaze scanned the room from behind thin wire-rimmed spectacles.
"Allow me to present Professor Colbert," Dumbledore said. "Your new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher."
philthe25th? I dare you to read this.
EDIT: And then there's Betwixt Lórien and Rivendell, a LOTR story featuring Colbert.
"The pen is mightier than the sword!" yelled Stephen as he jumped up to face the Ringwraith, who turned to face him with a vicious snarl.
The dread minion of Sauron charged, its two-handed greatsword arced high and poised for a killing blow. Stephen stood before the onslaught, undaunted, his pen furiously at work on a nondescript sheet of parchment. Just as the Ringwraith closed in on its target, Stephen triumphantly thrust his completed missive into the ghoul's hooded face. Gandalf averted his eyes, to avoid witnessing the carnage that was soon to follow… only to gape in surprise when the ghoul unexpectedly stopped in its tracks.
"Minion of evil!" shouted Stephen. "You have heard of Gandalf the Gray, and Saruman the White, though you may fear them not! Now, tremble in your ethereal shoes, for I am Colbert the Pinstriped! Look upon me and despair!" The Ringwraith-who-was-not-yet-Nazgul shrank back from Stephen's gimlet gaze.

Thanks! By tomorrow night I should be dancing! And hopefully by Halloween I'll get my own dance pads. AND THEN I'LL ROCK or at least be able to maybe score more than a C when I play at the arcade.
