Comment here and I will:

1)Tell you why I friended you.
2)Associate you with a song/movie.
3)Tell a random fact about you.
4)Tell my first memory of you.
5)Associate you with an animal/fruit.
6)Ask something I've always wanted to know about you.
7)In return, you MUST spread the chain letter love in your LJ.

1. Because we met in RL and you were awesome.

2. "No Children"?

3. You own many graphic novels but could write one that would blow them away.

4. RN102, Natty-T cinema. Oh, baby.

5. Kiwi.

6. Are you going to write the Great Canadian: A) graphic novel; B) book; or C) film?

Did you call it Natty-T?

Film's can be fucked with on any level of development and graphic novels can be really restrictive in terms of panal layout and pages [for mainstream] so novel by default!

Obviously not.

Awesome.

Next question: will it be a novel about a filmmaker or a comic book artist? :P

1. Yeah, I think on my end it was a friend-back thing.

2. Ted Leo, "Me & Mia" (because... you recommended it)

3. You're the only person who's replied that's in a band (a real band, not a Guitar Hero band)

4. You, like, commented, and then I, like, commented *back* and then, like, there were more comments, and, like, then there was lots of *commenting*! En commence les commentaires! [/crazy]

5. Badger (because they're black and white and your icon is black and white; and they're British-ish and so are you...)

6. What were your top albums of 2007?

1. RL connection = lj'd.

2. XTC, "Dear God".

3. You really like the chainsaw guy in ResEvil4.

4. GO Bus stop + Spice Girls CD = traumatized [livejournal.com profile] shady_lane

5. Deer.

6. Do you listen to any mainstream music? :)
From: [identity profile] shady-lane.livejournal.com
2. Perfect!

5. As in, caught in the headlights?

6. I listen to mainstream music from past decades, but if you mean current non-alternative artists, probably not. I listened to all of FutureSex/LoveSounds and kinda liked it.

Enough talk! Go eat your ice cream (http://www.nofactzone.net/?p=883).

1. I friended you in real life, and I friended you here.

2. That Rage Against the Machine song about the Zapatistas.

3. Your hair is FANTASTIC.

4. You = surrounded by boxes, me = wearing dorky vest, looking to hide from customers.

5. Pineapple?

6. What're you up to, anyway?

2. Rocky Votolato, "Portland Is Leaving"

3. You have the patience of a saint.

4. The second time I saw Serenity was the first time I met you.

5. Bichon

6. Turnabout is fair play. Why engineering?

2. I have not heard of that song, or artist.

5. Bichon as in the dog? Cool.

6. I've always been interested in science and math. In grade six, I was fortunate enough to have a teacher who was extremely supportive of me in the sciences and maths, and I guess with my dad being an engineer, it all kinda slid in place. As much as I whinge about things, I like being challenged (for the most part) and engineering is challenging because there are so many different facets to it, not to mention a huge responsibility to the public.

I'll bring it with me and play it for you. It's not a Krissy-all-the-time song, but rather a Krissy-vs.-Steering-Committee song. Kinda. Maybe it doesn't work quite as well as something like "Two Thousand Places", but it fit for that moments.

I wonder what would have happened if I'd taken any science in high school, rather than hiding behind the arts. I do envy you the fact that you have a field that actually impacts the world in a real and tangible way.

1. RL friend = lj friend

2. "Oslo in the Summertime", or maybe anything else from the Of Montreal back catalogue. (Speaking of... their show next month is about three blocks from my apartment. Win!)

3. That icon? Very awesome. Therefore you = also awesome.

4. Small Centre computer lab, you and Phil MSN-ing and me pretending to be a random stranger, right?

5. Embarrassing to admit, but "papaya" because I keep mis-reading your username.

6. What draws you to Of Montreal?

1. I friended you in real life, and I friended you here. (NO ESCAPE!)

2. Wayne's World

3. You're very adorable when you've had a few drinks.

4. Malini's tutorial, first day, when there wasn't even class because we hadn't had a lecture yet... but we didn't know that because it was the first day of university and everything was strange and new. Everyone else was sitting there, stunned and confused and hoping to look cool, but we got on like a house on fire.

5. Dachshund?

6. When did you first realize you wanted to get into film?

1. I friended you in real life, and I friended you here. Though I see more of you here than in RL. So it was a good thing!

2. Eels, "Mr E's Beautiful Blues" (and also "Maps" by Yeah Yeah Yeahs because I had it in my head the whole day that one time we hung out). You get two songs!

3. Your username is so very cool.

4. [livejournal.com profile] thucyken introduced us, and very soon after we geeked out about The X-Files.

5. Strawberry. (You kind of remind be of Kaylee, and Kaylee = strawberries, therefore you also = strawberry. Don't ask me to explain how my mind works, because I have NO IDEA.)

6. What are you up to now? Educatin', book-sellin', movin' house? What's the deal, girl?

Here's a challenge!

From: [identity profile] naturelf.livejournal.com
Yeah, you're not wrong about that...

1. RL encounter in NS = lj f'listing. (Any other abbreviations I could work into that...?)

2. Something by late-period The Beatles, probably. "Octopus's Garden" because you're in biology (...right?) and Octopi are biological (and also tasty; but that's neither here nor there and I mention it only because I'm just hungry because it's lunchtime, not because I'm a cannibal) AND also because it's a fun song and you were also fun to meet and hang out with. Yes.

3. You own a red shirt. I have a picture of you in it that proves it.

4. Introduced over Indian food at a really great restaurant.

5. This is a challenge. Bunny, maybe?

6. You don't post that much, so... what's up?

You're Canadian! You let a little snow get in your way and then you'll have all sorts of meteorology taking advantage of your good graces. For shame, padawan, for shame.

1. You were friended because you're a huge geek and we geek together in class and start class discussions about Harry Potter.

2. Mirrormask.

3. You want to have MAD SEX with all of Slytherin House (but mostly just Snape).

4. We were hanging out in the Film Department, playing yet another round in the "Stalking Professor MacKenzie" game.

5. Something smaller and hyperactive. A chickadee.

6. Why did you choose film studies?

1. The title of that fanmix, man... brilliant.

2. Fight Club, but probably because I'm staring at your icon.

3. Fact. You have great taste in TV.

4. OMGWTFTRANSPORTTRUCK = PURE GENIUS.

5. Apples.

6. What's your favourite pairing? If there could be only one OTP, what would it be and why?

(no subject)

Date: 2007-02-07 08:15 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] underhand-glory.livejournal.com
That OTP question is hard. Why you hurt me so?

For serious, part of me wants to say Remus/Sirius because I loved it for so long, part of me wants to say Nick/Greg because it was THE OTP before I knew what OTP even meant. Now, there're other pairings I'm more focused on (heh. see icon) so it's hard to decide.

Maybe I'll go with Nick/Greg? Maybe...

This means I post this on my LJ now, right?

Yeah, your turn to post it. :D

Nick/Greg (and sometimes Greg/Nick) is very much love. Have you read this AU fic (http://glitterati.talkoncorners.net/fiction/fibonacci.html)? Nick and Greg are... yes. Just yes. Man, you *do* have good taste.
