Fact: my senses clearly hates me because my morning shower seemed wetter than usual.

I like futurism okay (though an environmentalist friend hates it because they're in love with industry, but I think it's a bit silly to fault a philosophy that waned decades before Silent Spring was published on its failures re: conservation and sustainability). There were some really neat oil paintings of streetcars at night at a recent exhibit I saw - really glowing, ethereal even, portraits of elements of industry. And I mean glowing in all senses of the word.
