Behold the majesty: Finding Neverland trailer online!

I be excited. Golly gee whiz I'm excited for this movie. *bounce* This damn movie was supposed to come out last Christmas but the live action Peter Pan was coming out at the same time. They moved this one back because of some reason. If I'd made the movie I would have based it on the biography I read where it detailed their lives after the play was produced... everyone died. The boys' father got face cancer, the mother also died, one was killed in WWI, another drowned while trying to save a friend (but since Michael couldn't swim to begin with it was a noble but stupid death), a third, Peter, built a successful publishing company and then threw himself infront of a subway train. Family viewing!

I think this one ends with the first production of the play. More cheery, that.

Not because it's Johnny Depp starring as good ol' James Matthew Barrie. That would be enough. I'd watch anything he's in and I've seen some really odd movies because of it (Arizona Dream, anyone?) and I've seen some good movies, too. Mostly weird ones. Nor because the Scotsman JM Barrie is being played by JD with a Scottish accent. That would be enough for a couple hours of mirth.

No, I think the reason I really want to see this movie is to see all the costumes he gets himself into. From the trailer we see "Red Injun" and "Pirate" and there's just something about a pirate. So cute.

Distinct chick-flick aura over this one which makes me cringe, but how cute can you get when you have a story about a loner loser with an active imagination who ignores his wife to hang out with a family of 5 little boys, spending all his time with them, making up stories to entertain them, charming their mother and giving their dad the heebie-jeebies. But heebie-jeebie man got face cancer so I guess he should have been nicer. :)

UPDATE:
I just slid along the classroom floor, caught my foot on a loose corner of the carpet, plowed it up and *ow*... now I'm covered with decayed floor dust and dried carpet glue. *choke* *koff*

I got a new shirt at work today. It's a No-Frill's shirt, but it says on it "Dave and Charlotte's No Frills", isn't that zany??!?!

gah... it's like it fell from some crazy alternate universe where we run some crazy nightmare-land grocery store. Skeletons eat, right? Zombies wouldn't shop at Sobeys. The undead totally shop at No Frills.
