1. Got my copy of KATAMARI DAMACY in the mail when I got home from school. Have made three stars (74 cm) and Cancer (96 crabs). Which is awesome, because when I tried Cancer with [livejournal.com profile] firstgold I barely made 8 crabs because I got stuck and discouraged and defeated by the mice.

2. Opened up th'email, found a shipping confirmation for Solarbabies in my inbox. *snerk*. Solarbabies. ....*anticipates*

3. Basingstoke. *hangs head* Andromeda fic. Drunken!Harper fic. *hangs head lower* Andromeda/Pitck Black crossover.

4. Laundry = happened. Socks = clean. Feet = happy. Therefore = WIN.

5. Michael and Dwight? ARE BRINGING SEXYBACK. *dies*

Video game. Pure crack in video game form. Indescribable, only experienceable. Highly addictive and barely believable.

*points to icon* Get it? Get it? Gedditgedditgeddit?

*wanders off in a haze of Understandingness*

This (http://naturelf.livejournal.com/195149.html) probably makes more sense, too. And, like, half of what I talk about (before Heroes started, that is).

There are likewoahabillion Firefly icons out there.

I'm playing Katamari Damacy now too. I rented it from GameFly.

I'm up to the part where you have to make the moon. I've come SO CLOSE at least three times, but I've never made it... :/

I got stuck at the fourth star before but tonight I just barely squeaked by. So, WIN. It's horribly addictive.

*nods* It's pure crack. Pure lovely crack. I'm looking forward to taking it home to my parents' place and watching my mother's head explode when I show her the opening movie-thing. :D

Solarbabies?! [livejournal.com profile] gardenprophet (my erstwhile wife. She's deserted me, and is going to Japan, but she's still my wife. ;) told me I had to watch it. Doesn't it have Peter DeLouise in it?

Hee! I can't believe you've got that! You must post as you watch it.

Also, I am right there with you re: Basingstoke. How can we resist the drunken Harper? Plus, she's one of the view good writers that writes Fraser/Vechio instead of just Fraser/Kowalski. Come on! Mounties, slash, what's gonna be wrong with that?

Slashing any character played by Callum Keith Rennie is so easy, because he always plays close to the line (*koff* Hard Core Logo). Even a little in Battlestar Galactica.

However. There were a full two years of Mountie+Ray before he came on the scene. I haven't worked my way up to her dS fic just yet, but I'm getting there. :D (btw - any other good Andromeda stories that you've run across?)

Unfortunately, I tend to read fic in phases, and it's been a while since I had my Andromeda phase, so I can't remember many off the top of my head. I've still got one that I remember loving in my bookmarks: The Recreation of the Warrior (http://www.anzwers.org/free/andromeda/fanfic/Mandyfic/warrior1.html) which is a Harper/Tyr Space Opera romp. I've got to head out to work now, but I'll see if I've got any more later . . .

Ooh, thanks! *makes grabby hand at the fic*

I scanned the first bit and I think I'm really going to like it. Awesome, thanks!

I do the same thing with phases, and this phase I'm scouring back to find old fic from more-or-less dead fandoms (I found a Methos/RayK crossover epic that was quite entertaining).

ZOMG! All this talk of Andromeda fic sparked random wandering by the [livejournal.com profile] jissa and look at what I found! (http://viridian.shriftweb.org/chancemet.htm) DS/Andromeda crossover fic by Viridian5! I've got her old site bookmarked, so I must have enjoyed at least some of her old fic!

::does the dance of crossover fic shameful joy::

I feel it's important to have dances for all occasions. ;)

WIN! Win so much... so very, very much.

And I noticed that I didn't link you the the dS/Highlander fic (http://freedom.aeglos.org/phelis/cat1.html). Rectified! (The sequel is pure h/c CRACK but the first part is really well done.)

And I'm 10-4ing you on the dances for all occasions... I usually just bust out the *happy dance*, but I keep the rest in reserve. :)

It has Peter DeLouise, ADRIAN PASDAR (*flails*), Lukas Haas, Jason Patric (who I just know as Michael from Lost Boys, and Jami Gertz (Star from Lost Boys.

I'll keep a running commentary, and hopefully grab some choice screencaps of the insanity to post. But really, how can you go wrong with post-apocalyptic ball hockey? I am far to excited to watch this movie. I'm also a little relieved that someone else recommended it.

*checks mail* Amazon.ca said it might be here today! *checks mail again*

The sad state of affairs is that I had to look up Adrian Pasdar on IMDb, because I couldn't remember what he had done. ::looks sheepish::

And we all know that you can't go wrong with post-apocalyptic ball hockey. It's just impossible. ;)
