Edit: For those on my flist who are into Robert Sean Leonard as an adorkable teen vampire, eBay has two copies of My Best Friend Is A Vampire up for sale. Just, you know, FYI.

Edit-edit: [livejournal.com profile] starsoohpretty linked to this article which has caused great mirth and consternation. The part about how Straight men, it seems, have neural circuits that prompt them to seek out women; gay men have those prompting them to seek other men. Women’s brains may be organized to select men who seem likely to provide for them and their children caused the consternation, and mirth comes from the part where [livejournal.com profile] starsoohpretty and I started on about Caveman Lurg and Caveman Vlurg and who was a better provider. ...okay, you had to be there.

But then I kept reading and found this part: A somewhat more straightforward clue to the origin of homosexuality is the fraternal birth order effect. Two Canadian researchers, Ray Blanchard and Anthony F. Bogaert, have shown that having older brothers substantially increases the chances that a man will be gay. Older sisters don’t count, nor does it matter whether the brothers are in the house when the boy is reared. And I'm obviously starved for more Heroes because I went immediately to Peter and Nathan. *hangs head* Yeah, probably going to the special hell.

My hotmail's stuck_on_earth, but I'm rarely on anymore.

And I totally do live in a cave. The infamous Hobbit Hole on DeGrassi street. Thank the gods I'm moving soon!

Where are you moving to?

You'll have to have a housewarming party... and hopefully I can come.

Wish me luck, today be the law exam at 7pm (the blessed time is because the prof is a lawyer)

Now to watch MST3K and study... and paint my toenails between reciting the reasons for the Victim Impact Statement.

It's up near Dupont station, three cheers for The Annex.

There may be a wee shindig sometime in May, I'll keep you posted.

Best of luck, it sounds like a crazy-fun evening of nail polish, snarky robots and the justice system.

Me, I'm scrambling to finish this paper about how television fails as a technology (or something like that).

We seriously have no excuse not to have tea if you're moving to the Annex.

My ranking in that list just made me think that I can't believe how much time I spend on fucking LiveJournal.

Hee, no, I guess not. How's May 7 for you? I should be all moved in by then and ready to start exploring the neighbourhood.

At least you're only at 74 comments... you could be like Phil, and have over 500. I mean, looking on the bright side and all.

Ahhhhh 1 exam done and 3 to go.

And I got an 18.3/20 on my law paper. The one that I've been working on since October and spent 3 days transcribing and another three editing.

I left my room once in three days to get food... and explain St Patrick's day to Chinese exchange students. Now it makes less sense to me.

Now I must jump on the bed and scream with joy.

My toenails are red and my fingernails are the Salley Hansen "Chrome" polish in Black Pearl (it's godly)

MST3K MOVIES AWAY!!!!!!

Sweet deal. Way to kick law's ass but good. You hear that, law? Your butt is kicked.

It took three of us to explain St Patrick's to the Chinese exchange student in our office. It seems to involve snakes and beer and the colour green. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I can't wait until I move and the ceilings are high enough for me to jump on my bed without fear of brain damage.

I am in awe of your godly nails. :D

OH MY GOD THE NEW 'HOUSE' IS KILLING ME.

The one on the plane with the "you, say 'crikey mate'" bit.

...how can I study for Crim with House on!?

House is fairly evil. But I stopped watching that show because it's kind of strange and boring when it used to be fun and snarky. Heroes has my love these days.

http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/ <-- there's the place to start and boy I hope you're teasing me because Heroes is OMG♥. Srsly. It's a lot of fun.

If you haven't seen any of it, start from the beginning and work through them in order. Trust me. :)

I saw Hot Fuzz on Wednesday, the boyfriend got free passes somehow...

I loved it. It is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time.

Right now I am.. not studying for cognitive psychology but I am reading lj, chekcing my vampirefreaks profile, reading webcomics, and applying for a few jobs.

One of my new favourite daily humor things, although it does tend to make one lose faith in humanity... well maybe just Americans.

What be you doing today?

I prefer Overheard in the Office, but the others are funny, too.

Today I'm packing and moving, which should be hell fun. I'm taking a bunch of stuff today, a bunch of stuff Sunday, and then the last of it all next Sunday.

I may read some more of www.drmcninja.com, but maybe not.

I want to see Hot Fuzz, but I think I'll end up seeing Vacancy this weekend if end up seeing something at all. Simon Pegg was in the Dr. Who episode I watched last night. Or I'll watch Smokin' Aces again. Nice to know all this film school is giving me an educated taste in films.

And at a meeting this morning we were talking about the security/emergency procedures in case our building had to be locked down. Not fun. Been in a funny headspace all day because of it.
