muscovy duck 2 ways, seared duck breast and confit, braised tender leeks and white beans, forked fingerlings, tangerine infused jus
chilli lime marinated red snapper with wild rice pilaf, sauteed mustard greens and drizzled with cucumber yogurt sauce
Either one will run you about $30. What's wrong with good ol' peanut butter? Cucumber yogurt my ass... :)
Signs I need to get out more (or stop with the CSI already): Number 376
At work there are books for children who are learning how to read. The vast majority of them are dumb little fiction series ("It's not Martha's Birthday" and "Where Are My Socks?" etc.) but there is a series called Science Solves It.
Okay, smiles for that one. Science Solves It, like duh. The evidence never lies.
Last night we got some more titles in, including "Slow Down, Sara". Was it lame of me to have laughed so much at that? Because, like Science is like totally part of CSI 'cause they like... um... solve cases and stuff and um... use science to like do it. And Sara is *totally* into her boss even though he's like totally way older than her (like complete *ew* but he's also kinda cute in like a brains-are-the-sex way) and she keeps trying to like ask him out and stuff and... and he's like "no way, Sara, no way" [/ditz]
Ah, fan communities, how you corrupt and invade everyday life. Ah, work, how bored you make me.

I saw Karen at work on the weekend (super-strange, that)... she never watches CSI and is doing nothing but babysitting and watching 6 Feet Under. She changed her major from Fine Arts to something else. Neither of us made any "Let's meet for coffee" noises (which is fine because coffee + me = sick, twitchy and bitchy). We'll probably never cross paths ever again. I'm not sure how that makes me feel.
It's one of the perils of working a mall job at the only mall around. Sooner or later it seems that everyone comes through Chapters.
Moving to Toronto is good if only for the change of scenery!
I get to be bored and uncomfortable tonight! Aka Toronto School of Business Graduation 2004! *headdesk*
