I AM FINISHED! FINISHED THOSE LAST TWO PAPERS. THIS CALLS FOR CAPSLOCK OF JOY.

This means I can finally unpack my new room and get settled.

This means that this evening I can finally post my "Nathan and Peter Petrelli Fanmix of Creepy Codependence".

This means I'll finally be able to watch this week's Heroes. If serrico and aoshi are any indication, I'll have lots to squee about. *anticipates* But I won't watch it until the room is in order. Because I must have discipline! I must have fortitude! I have to wait for the file to download.

Also: the power of names and naming is always amusing... when it was still cute, we called my old apartment "The Hobbit Hole" because of the low ceilings and cramped quarters and general underground milieu. Then, as I got more and more fed up with it, I started calling it "The Hell Hole". Now that I'm gone and have moved in with the lovely and talented amyisyellow, I've caught myself thinking of the old place as "The Oubliette" (small, dark, no windows, couldn't really stand up straight). Oh how the worm has turned.

HOORAY! Congrats!

I used to live in someone's attic. I was constantly bending over to avoid banging my head on the slanted ceiling, or else I was banging my head on the slanted ceiling. I called it The Garrett and I thought it was "cozy."

I've decided that it's worth the little bit extra in rent to be able to stand up straight. And have a window. And heat. And to not have everything smell like sewer.

Head-banging can be fun, just not when it's all involuntary-like.
