I’m sure by now that everyone knows the Invisible Sandwich Cat:

(tee hee)

But have you met the Invisible Sandwich Queen?

(Oh, Queen Liz. Send her victorious/ Happy and glorious/ Long to reign over us:/ God save the Queen!)

Also: it warms my heart that the buzz for Waitress is almost uniformly positive. Rotten Tomatoes puts it at 91%! Fillion deserves to catch a break.

Oh lord, she looks like a Red Hat Lady, and that is terrifying.

That's why she's queen: she knows it's all about the hats.

A coworker was telling me that she has an extra van full of hats when she goes on state visits.

Hahahaha, amazing.

In other Matt-watches-Charlotte's-favourite-TV news, I saw House for the first time last night. My (gay) friend Steve introduced it to me saying "Oh shit Matt, prepare yourself for this" and put on the one with Carmen Electra. He said it wasn't the best one to start with but I thought it was good, so probably converted to that too.

I like how Invisible Sandwich Queen is kinda-sorta giving a thumbs-up.

I know the episode of House you mean, and it's the best episode they've done. Ever. It's probably one of the best single episodes of television that have been produced. Any show with Carmen Electra, though... top of the line.

However. I haven't been happy with the current season of the show (by "not happy" I mean "not watching"). It's really quite a shame. If Steve-friend has the first season and wants to lend it to you, scream yes, grab the discs, and run! By which I mean: it used to be FANTASTIC.

I have heard rumours that Stephen Fry is going to guest on the show, which is the only thing right now that'll make me tune back in. Unfortunately, it seems that rumours are all they are, and rumours they will remain.

Invisible Sandwich Queen kinda reminds me of Fonzie from Happy Days:

"Ehhhhhh!"

*ahem* God save the Queen.

All of my younger friends find that picture amusing and slightly disturbing. My grandmother, on the other hand, thinks it's very sweet to see a picture of the Queen smiling.

I love how she's giving that trademark Fonzie thumbs-up.
