normal life?
Sep. 2nd, 2004 02:54 amToday I:
- got up fucking early (er... 8:30) after yesterday's 'fun'
- had breakfast
- buggered off for a while
- got a bank account
- signed up for 17-ish different clubs, including: fencing, role playing, acappella jazz choir, falun dafa (somehow I'm the treasurer now... O_o), anime and manga, astronomy, space exploration, some feed-the-homeless thing, campus radio, my college's paper, the university paper... *snort* like I'll ever end up doing any of it. it's just fun to take pamphlets.
- condom olympics. fun fact: the average condom can hold 20L of water. Found to be true from good ol' trial and error his afternoon. Much less fun than advertised
- Popeye's Chicken and Biscuts
- TTC-ed to Glendon Campus from Keele Campus for the "Grassfest". The journey was fun.
- getting onto the glendon campus: the 300 of us started singing this long, long, "dirty" song ("let me see you show your anus/show your anus" while pointing to Uranus. FUNNY. *koff*) and there were so many verses that we lined up along the side of the field and kept going as the host of the event ("Poetry Slam") kept trying to get us to sit down already. Fun.
- Grassfest. So called because we sat on a lawn. Much much less fun than advertised. Unless listening to confrontational blacks and latinos speak their confrontational Whites R Evil and I can Rhyme poems to a mostly white-and-asian crowd is fun. The host's poem was excellent, and after that things got very shallow very fast. Doubly disappointing since last year the entertainment was Biff Naked.
- ditched that shit early, went down to the Queen street. got there 9-ish.
- Met Tym, saw Hero... good little film
- RESIDENT EVIL: APOCALYPSE, baby, YEAH! Never did see the Toronto downtown looking so cool. City Hall looks downright sexy. Which is creepy.
- after film went to the Bovine Sex Club to meet with Vince, Angela/Andrea (??) and a bunch of other rennies for pool + drinks (it's now almost 1am)
- tex-mex on the patio, food for others, not for me.
- Tym drives, Vince in backseat, three of us trying to find our way from Queen and Yonge to Keele and Finch. Gardiner-->401-->427-->Keele north. Roundabout way but I'm clueless and they're from Colorado and Ohio.
- got home three in the morning. I don't think I'll be attending the juice-and-coffee extravaganza that is breakfast tomorrow morning.
Normal life? Stop the world and let me the hell off.
