quick bursts of rationality
Sep. 8th, 2004 04:48 amoperating under the principle that being awake at 5am is fine as long as you're still awake at 5am.
no one's online because it's 4:49 in the freaking morning.
the Festival is over for the summer and no, Dave, I do not want to fly down to Maryland this weekend.
Bill and Brenda and Joyce will be going back to Ottawa before I get back out to the site One Last Time. *sad*
the weekend days of the weekend (the actual festival things) were long, hot and boring... we did Indian food Saturday night and I discovered that I'm not the biggest fan of Indian food.
Sunday we had People that wouldn't go away so we closed the booth really late. After-dark late. Shelby was there for Sunday, I dealt with drunk new-agers and I counted the cash and *wow* we did an okay weekend. Turns out out gate was up 25% from last year.
Monday = Labour Day = no festival. Also = packing booth + customs paperwork = looooooon day.
Tuesday = shopping.
deleriumd,
_lynch_ we HAVE to plan a shopping trip. (must must must!) I bought freaky earmuffs.
FROSH WEEK IS OVER (thank god). the final event was a buffet and dancing on a tall ship (w00t tall ship). it started off fun but rapidly turned into take yo clothes of, pair up and let everyone else feel rejected. there's more story there, but not much more.
Ended up hanging out (on boat) with the (ooh sur-prise) black-clad table.
New elements (as drawn on my arms in permanent marker): Fire, Water, Spiders and Bats.
Magic Bus = cool. *That* story on request.
got off boat, got back to school, hung out with a couple of guys (one of which is a sex-crazed male dance major... he's so trying to prove he's not gay it's almost funny)... watched the first bits of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.
I think Simon digs me. I know Mr. Sex-Crazed Dancer does because I am female.
So now it's officially past 5am and I've decided to sort/order/re-pile the piles of stuff I added to The Room this afternoon.
