1. Holy bejeezus the HD looks fantastic.
2. Why does this plot seem... annoying? I worked in a bookstore when the movie of The Notebook came out (and had to put up with an endless stream of mothers and daughters buying copies of the book for each other), so the thought of Rachel McAdams in a romantic drama makes me want to poke out my eyes. But while the idea of soulmates is certainly romantic, why is this movie trying to sell me self-sacrificing masochism as a be-all and end-all. I'm sure it's all a larger metaphor for something and the movie will be very touching. The director's other stuff has been in the horror/thriller line, so all this saccharine romance stuff had better be tempered with some serious creepy.
3. Eric Bana = hot.
