Two things:
Sep. 20th, 2011 05:24 pmFunny thing:
Tom Hardy, I guess on how he chooses projects?: "When Christopher Nolan throws a ball, I go fetch."
(You can just hear the article cooing at him for being a big teddy bear of an actor.)
[Edit: more on Warrior. The director notes an interesting result from test screenings, the interviewer raises an eyebrow (it's okay, mainstream media, one day you'll Get It):
"Interestingly, when this film was tested in America it scored very highly with women as a chick flick."
So Warrior is a chick flick with violence? "Funnily enough, a little bit," he says.]
True thing:
A recently-married and newly-out American serviceman, on one of the dangers of DADT: "It becomes very difficult to trust someone you can't be honest with."
(Being out in the military doesn't harm combat readiness, but being forced into the closet does. Wow, no-brainer.)
