Sep. 28th, 2011 12:25 amTonight's taping of The Unbelievable Truth had a panel that included John Finnemore (writer and co-star of Cabin Pressure) and Alan Davies (!!!).
Since David Mitchell is the series presenter, that makes three more names I can mark off my imaginary bingo card of UK comedians from the television that I've seen on stage.
(I'll be interested to hear the edits: two 30-minute episodes are going to come out of 2.5 hours of taping.)
Hoooooooooooooray. Sleep time now.

Date: 2011-09-28 10:28 am (UTC)They said the first episode would be transmitted on New Year's Day (to which the whole audience all went "aaaaaaaawwwww", making the producer laugh) and the second one that was recorded is supposed to go out in mid/late January.
I'm definitely going to listen to see if the running joke about killing quails that were overrunning the studio makes it into the final cut. In the second half, everyone kept referring to "the episode a few weeks ago" which was actually the episode from 30 minutes ago, so they might replace a few audience reactions to those bits. (The quail jokes carried through.)
