Dear internet,

If one has been dumped, and the dump-er doesn't like to use such ugly words and prefers to call it "ending a relationship", exactly how furious is one allowed to be?

A further question, for clarification: being dumped is when one half of the relationship decides to not be in the relationship, leaving the other half stunned/alone/heartbroken and with no opportunity to respond? Yes?

"Let's be friends", my ass.

Well if that's not what being dumped is, I've been using that expression all wrong for years.

I think the dumpee is well rid of an asshat who "doesn't like to use such ugly words". Ugh.

I would say one is allowed to be extremely furious - even more so that the dumpee doesn't like to call it what it is.

*sends you lots of snuggles*

Sounds like the dump-er puts a wee bit too much stock in the qualifying power of semantics. Furiousness is an appropriate response!

Ugh.
