*waves*

Still here. This computer likes to keep me guessing about when it'll connect to that interweb thing. So no posting as much as I would.

I've decided that there is nothing on god'd green earth that'll make me go back to Chapters in April. So long, lovely 30% discount. Whatever. I'll just go back to using the library. No big. Sunday's my last shift EVER. Heh. It's nice working at a place where you're replacable, because then there's no guilt in leaving. Plus, I learned all I needed to know about bookselling after my 3rd shift waaay back last fall, and I've been treading water ever since. If I wanted to do the same boring shit over and over again, I'd apply for a job on the line at GM. It would pay more.

That means I'm going back to school Sunday night. [livejournal.com profile] thucyken and [livejournal.com profile] aoshi would be amused to know that I've been compulsively organizing our store's manga piles. And yesterday I fangirled with a total stranger. *twitch* This does not bode well.

Insert amusing year-end wrapup here.

ah ha ha ha

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The real lyrics were:
You.. lost and lonely...

But I misheard them as:
You.. Rice-a-Roni

I keep thnking about rice a roni and laughing...

*snort*giggle* Charlotte fangirling infront of strangers is something I never would have guessed. ^_^ I'm highly amused, and excited.

Hey dude... it was participatory fangirling. The random stranger and I traded recs and cooed over Sanzo. It was very very sad.

PARTY! (But I have class until 7:30... :P)

Heh. Don't worry too much, you've still got Josh. He's the bigger geek anyway.

I think I was suffering from work withdrawal this past week. I kept expecting people to ask me really retarded questions, or to have to deal with a manager... On Sunday Karen scheduled Ashley and I until 3, and NO OTHER CERS (except for My Books) were on the floor until 5. And the store was really busy. Um... no, I didn't want to stay an extra two hours. It was my last shift. I QUIT, remember. Like I'm going to do her a favour on my last day. Besides, both Ash and I had to move back to school that afternoon.

No CERs scheduled from 3pm to 5pm. Now, whose fault was that?

So I'll miss (a select few) coworkers, the 30% discount and not a whole lot else. :)

i *think* i know which one josh is.

i am sorry you are going through stupid person withdrawl. don't worry i am sure you aren't going to be disapointed for very much longer (ah i understand..book related dumb questions like..where is your non-fiction section? can you help me find the book that is directly in front of me? why isnt this book that was published 27 years ago in stock or available to order? what do you mean it won't be in paperback for over a year?

that's actually kind of funny. only one cer on a busy sunday afternoon between 3-5. good to see how the canadian economy is handled effectivly by people making poor managerial decisions that affect people directly above and above them as well as the whole market ecomony..but i suppose that would mean thinking outside of the box and dare i say not seeing the whole picture

anyhow, hope university is going well.
