So I'm in training today, learning about the Science & Engineering Faculty (w00t info sessions). The liaison person giving us the presentation is talking about how most students she talks to in the Faculty want to go to med school. Then she mentions that McMaster doesn’t require MCAT results OR a strict science background. You just have to be a really good student.

So then I get my crazy idea: apply to Mac’s med school just for kicks, to see if I could get in. I’d never go because I hate people too much to want to be a doctor and I also love the field I’m in. When I got back to my desk I check to see how much the application fee would be: $275.

That’s too much bread for one crazy idea, but the idea alone is enough for an evil "I could apply and take space away from some kid who's been labouring in premed for four years already" kind of chuckle.
